MANTA OCEAN ENERGY.

Tree Nurturer and Manta Ocean Energy have teamed up together to reduce climate change by transitioning to ocean renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, shifting to sustainable and protecting natural carbon sinks like urban forests.

Hello, my name is Peter. I am introducing you to my innovative design for an ocean energy system, Manta Ocean Energy, for which I am seeking donations.

The device is modelled on the Manta Ray. The rhythm of their wing like fins creates movement and energy.

Using the ocean, the wings of my prototype create movement and energy. The undersea current moves continuously, hence a source of energy that can be harnessed; welcome to Manta Ocean Energy.

The point of difference from existing ocean energy systems to my design, is its size.

Manta Ocean Energy is a smaller device, designed to be grouped and secured to the ocean floor. Larger groups can be placed in the open sea, as well as smaller groups, placed under jetties, or marinas.

The Manta Ocean Energy system can be mounted horizontally or vertically, depending on ocean currents.

As with solar & wind energy, the objective of the invention is to provide a viable ocean energy conversion system. Reducing climate change by transitioning to renewable ocean energy.

It has the advantage of supplying power 24hrs per day, requiring minimal maintenance.

Energy created feeds into the grid & batteries providing power to the marina at its source for small systems and to energy storage for bigger groupings.

The design is sleek and aims to be responsibly environmentally friendly to the sea life & its surrounds.

The design prototype tested on land has proven successful.

From here we will move to manufacture the ocean bearing, seabed prototype.

Designed in Western Australia, the vision is for the Manta Ocean Energy system to be licensed, allowing manufacturing of the product around Australia and abroad.

The potential extends further. Transportable in kit form to island or other locations without manufacturing capabilities, the Manta Ocean Energy system can be assembled and set in place to provide 24hr power to grids & batteries on islands.

The manufacture, installation and maintenance of the system create employment opportunities.
